trump signed an executive order punishing those who did not work with ICE

throughout the 80's churches in arizona and california slowly became "sanctuaries" for central americans to find safety from their corrupt governments
churches throughout recent (and not so recent) american history helped keep people who weren't safe protected
sparks questions as to how individuals will continue to protect immigrants in college settings or in religious institutions since there is no national law protecting them from ICE
