   2. thesis (textile physics) + material
   3. no break
   4. nc state alum (fiber an dpolymer science weaving and color science)

   post ops and projects at nc state

   13 years industry (medical and cleanroom skin issues) and home textiles

   END USE APPLICATION

   efficacy of fabrics → healthcare textiles RESEARCH

   functional textiles for comfort and skin comfort- technical fabrics

same path- different applications- wants to fill paths which led to academia

evolved over time and how it could configure into different applications

research questions are challenges become research and motivation

diverse research field but believes research include human factor (fabric structure property and relationship) has vital application to research > boils down to expertise and everything is related

diversity of application that focus can apply to→ most proud of

interdisciplinary and collaboration (microplastic, footwear, microclimate)
